A Testimony of Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance

This episode features a deeply personal testimony of surviving one of the most intense seasons of spiritual warfare — a battle that brought physical, emotional, and spiritual devastation. Through demonic attack that led to severe weight loss and spiritual oppression, God’s delivering power broke through.
The testimony reminds us that endurance isn’t just about surviving — it’s about standing. Standing when you can’t see the way forward. Standing when the enemy whispers that it’s over. Standing because the One who called you is faithful.
5 Biblical Teachings on Endurance

In this episode, we walk through five powerful Scriptures that anchor our endurance in the unshakeable truth of God’s Word:
1. Romans 5:3-5 — Suffering Produces Perseverance
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Paul reveals a divine progression: suffering isn’t pointless — it’s purposeful. Every trial you endure is forging something eternal inside you. Perseverance leads to character, and character leads to a hope that does not disappoint.
2. James 1:12 — The Crown of Life
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
James reminds us that there is a reward for endurance. The crown of life isn’t given to those who avoided difficulty — it’s given to those who stood the test. Your trial is your testimony in the making.
3. Hebrews 12:1-2 — Run the Race with Endurance
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.”
The race of faith isn’t a sprint — it’s a marathon. And the key to finishing isn’t speed; it’s focus. Fix your eyes on Jesus — the author and perfecter of your faith. He ran His race all the way to the cross, and He will carry you through yours.
4. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 — Strength in Weakness
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
This is one of the most counter-cultural truths in all of Scripture. The world says, “Be strong.” God says, “Let Me be strong through you.” Your weakness is not disqualification — it’s an invitation for God’s power to show up in ways you never imagined.
5. Hebrews 12:3 — Consider Him
“Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
When you feel like giving up, consider Jesus. He endured the cross, despising the shame, for the joy set before Him. If He endured for you, you can endure through Him.
A Prayer for Endurance

We close this episode with a heartfelt prayer anchored in Isaiah 40:31:
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with weary hearts but willing spirits. We ask You to renew our strength — not according to our own power, but by Your Spirit. Help us to endure with grace, to stand firm in faith, and to trust that You are working all things together for our good. Like eagles, let us soar above the storms of this life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

[HOOK — 0:00]
Have you ever been in a season so difficult… so overwhelming… that you weren’t sure you’d make it through? A season where your faith was tested to its absolute limit — where everything you believed was put under fire? Today, we’re talking about endurance. Not the kind that comes from willpower or self-discipline… but the kind that comes from heaven. The kind that keeps you standing when everything around you is falling apart.
[INTRO — 2:00]
Welcome to Awareness Unlocked — where faith meets freedom, and truth transforms lives. I’m your host, and this is Episode 8: “Endurance: Standing Firm When the Battle Rages.”
[EPISODE INTRO — 2:55]
Before we dive in, I want to set the tone for today’s conversation. Endurance is one of those words that sounds noble from a distance — but when you’re in it, when you’re living it, it feels like anything but noble. It feels like survival. It feels like crawling when you want to run. It feels like holding on when every part of you wants to let go.
But here’s what I’ve learned: endurance isn’t just about surviving. It’s about standing. Standing when you can’t see the way forward. Standing when the enemy whispers that it’s over. Standing because the One who called you is faithful — even when your circumstances say otherwise.
Today, I’m going to share a testimony that changed my life. And then we’re going to walk through five powerful Scriptures that will anchor your endurance in the unshakeable truth of God’s Word.
[TESTIMONY — 6:00]
I want to take you back to a season I don’t talk about often — a season of intense spiritual warfare that nearly cost me everything. There was a period in my life where I came under severe demonic attack. I’m not speaking metaphorically. I mean real, tangible, oppressive darkness that invaded every area of my life.
I lost a significant amount of weight. My body was deteriorating. My mind was under constant assault — thoughts of hopelessness, confusion, fear. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I felt like I was disappearing — physically and spiritually.
But in the midst of that darkness, something happened. God sent people into my life — prayer warriors, pastors, intercessors — who recognized what was happening. They laid hands on me. They prayed warfare prayers. They spoke the Word of God over my life with authority. And one day, in a moment I will never forget, deliverance came.
It wasn’t gradual. It was sudden. Like chains breaking. Like light flooding a room that had been dark for months. I felt the oppression lift. I felt my mind clear. I felt strength — real, supernatural strength — return to my body.
That experience taught me something I carry with me to this day: endurance is not about your strength. It’s about His. And sometimes, endurance means simply refusing to die — spiritually, emotionally, physically — until God shows up. And He always shows up.
[TEACHINGS — 12:00]
Now let’s open the Word together and look at five Scriptures that speak directly to the heart of endurance…
[Teaching 1: Romans 5:3-5] — Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Paul shows us that suffering is not pointless — it’s purposeful.
[Teaching 2: James 1:12] — Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial. There is a crown of life waiting for those who stand the test.
[Teaching 3: Hebrews 12:1-2] — Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus. The race of faith is a marathon, not a sprint.
[Teaching 4: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10] — My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Your weakness is God’s opportunity.
[Teaching 5: Hebrews 12:3] — Consider Him who endured such opposition, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
[PRAYER — 24:00]
Let’s pray together, anchored in Isaiah 40:31…
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with weary hearts but willing spirits. We ask You to renew our strength — not according to our own power, but by Your Spirit. Help us to endure with grace, to stand firm in faith, and to trust that You are working all things together for our good. Like eagles, let us soar above the storms of this life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
